A. As you get older you will slowly realise just how pointless politics really are. Politicians' promises dissappear faster than lightning strikes. It is the general course of the party that indicates the route their policies will take, no matter what they say in the run-up to the election. In truth, the excuses used explaining why pre-election policies have not been followed tends to be the only content in the papers for months after the election. Of course, when the next election comes around, that's all forgotten about anyway; and no party ever brings that fact up because they all do the same thing. It appears that the further to the right that a candidate is, then the more likely they are to send their country to war. The left gets… [cont.]
