Q. Muslims deviated from the Qur'an and strong Hadiths, and are no longer united as one Ummah in this day and age? I watched this show tonight on History International about the six day war between Egypy/Syria and Israel, and got to thinking that maybe ALLAH(SWT) is punishing the Ummah for not being united and being divded into sects and not following Islam the way it's meant to be.

A. yeah, I agree. im reading a book about this war, read also books about how Palestine was "sold", yes it was sold indeed. the sme happened to Iraq, Afghanestan... you will be amazed of the traitors numbers among us. we lost because of them, neglecting our religion and depending on others to save us, but not on Allah. Allah in the Holy Quran tells us about the conditions of his victory. if we fulfill these conditions, Allah will grant us the same victory that he granted his prophet and those who came after him, even Salah Aldeen. Allah says in the Holy Quran : { . } [ : 139-140] And be not infirm, and be not grieving, and you shall have the upper hand if you are believers. A. I can help you with #5. St. Boniface and St. Cyril are pronounced: BON-uh-fuss and SEER-uhl Don't say "Bonny-face" or "Bony-face" for Boniface. The pronunciation of "Cyril" may change, depending upon what part of the world you live in, but I've only heard it pronounced "SEER-uhl" in my region, including in churches named after St. Cyril. I understand, though, that in some areas, it's said more like "SIR-uhl" or even pronounced with the hard "C". Do you mean "Sefarad" or "Sephardi" (plural: Sephardim) for the Jews of Iberian Peninsula origin? Click below for the pronunciation of "Sephardi". And click here for "Umayyad":

A. Abd-ar-Rahman III ; January 11, 889 or 891 October 15, 961 (declared himself caliph in 912) --- It's a beautiful city. At the time of the caliphate it was probably the largest and most sophisticated city in Europe. It was actually a city of religious tolerance, rare for that century. At the time Rome was in ruins, Paris was a village, and London was just being re-occupied from the Viking invasions and was probably only a few thousand people. Madrid was a tiny village. --- The High Speed Rail connecting the city to Madrid in the last 15 years, has breathed new life into this incredible city.

Why can't Christians, Muslims and Jews live in harmony today?
Q. During the Al-Andalus dynasty in Spain from 711 - 1492, Christians and Jews were respected under Muslim rule (and viceversa). All three groups practiced their respective religions. Why can't this happen today? N: I understand your point about th trem "Jehovah" not being true to the ancient texts. However, I have to say that I've never come accross the term "YAHUWAH". I've only seen the term "Yahweh" as the proper term. I would question your sources.

In fact, after 1031 AD the caliphate of Cordoba collapsed which lead to civil wars and religious intolerance towards christians and jews. And people here are still wrapped around their damn finger, sucking up all their lies. Btw, Majority of Muslims don't hate Jews, they hate Zionism. They hate the act of Zionism and those who commited it and destroyed many lives in the past years. And no, Jews, Muslims and Christians all lived peacefully together in the past. The Reconquista (English: Reconquest) was the process encompassing over seven and a half centuries, by which the Christian kingdoms of northern Hispania (modern Portugal and Spain) conquered the Iberian peninsula from the Muslim and Moorish states of Al-Andalus. The Umayyad conquest of Hispania from the Visigoths occurred during the early 8th century, and the Reconquista is commonly considered to have begun almost immediately in 722, with the Battle of Covadonga, and completed in 1492, with the Conquest of Granada. A. The historian Said Al-Andalusi wrote that Caliph Abd-ar-Rahman III had collected libraries of books and granted patronage to scholars of medicine and "ancient sciences". Later, al-Mustansir (Al-Hakam II) went yet further, building a university and libraries in Cordoba. Cordoba became one of the world's leading centres of medicine and philosophical debate. However, when Al-Hakam's son Hisham II took over, real power was ceded to the hajib, al-Mansur Ibn Abi Aamir. Al-Mansur was a distinctly religious man and disapproved of the sciences of astronomy, logic and especially astrology, so much so that many books on these subjects, which had been preserved and collected at great expense by Al-Hakam II, were burned publicly. There can be people of any of the four races: Caucasoid (White), Mongoloid (Asian, this includes Amerindians such as the Aztecs), Australoids, and Negr!ods (Blacks) in Spain, but the majority of the people there are White Europeans. Asked by Matt - Wed Oct 11 02:07:19 2006 - - 10 Answers - 1 Comments

A. What a weird question to ask. I'm not a Democrat but I'll add my two cents worth anyway. Spain was never Muslin, per se, even though there were decedents of Arabs living there at one time. But they weren't Muslin simply because they lived there prior to the formation of the Muslin religion. They were called Barbers. They never were anything more than a minority even back then. Spain already has been ruled by many dictators, the last being Franco. And it's hardly likely that the people of Spain would be willing to let go of the democracy they've waited so long for. It's simply not going to happen.
